Feedback Notes
Sport:80 will communicate updates within the feedback item through the use of "Testing Feedback Notes".
Testing Feedback Notes will appear within the feedback items directly as follows:
Sport:80 will use Testing Feedback Notes to communicate any updates or queries regarding the specific piece of feedback.
NGBs can respond to the note by creating a follow up note via the "Edit" button found at the top right hand side of the page.
Clicking the "Add a new item" button will present a text box to submit a response in the form of a new Testing Feedback Note. Once filled out this can be added to the page by pressing the "Save" button in the top right corner.
Keeping up to date with feedback
Sport:80 admins will regularly check for feedback items. Each feedback item is reviewed and will be marked with a specific status and/ or priority. Following review, the feedback may have a number of outcomes highlighted by the status of the feedback item.
What does each status mean?
Status | What this means |
Under review | Feedback has been submitted by a reporter and is being looked at by Sport:80/ project lead |
Pushed to Jira | The feedback item needs additional input from the wider Sport:80 team (including developers), or needs adjustments/ changes to the functionality of the project. Changes to functionality or configuration are logged in the Project Management software 'Jira'. A "CP" number may display and this can correlate to "Jira exports" if utilised by your organisation. |
No action | No further action is required. |
Resolved | Item has been fixed/ changed. |
Requires Client Clarification | Sport:80 have reviewed the feedback and require further information from the reporter before we are able to advise or take further action. |
Future enhancement | Feedback marked as an enhancement is not currently possible, but has been logged within individual organisation areas for future development and/ or in the global project roadmap for consideration. |
Ready to Re-Test | Feedback from this item has been reviewed and changes have been made that require further testing. Testing is required by the NGB to ensure the changes resolve/ fix/ meet the requirements of the feedback item. |
How do I sign off a project?
For a project to be signed off, each testing instruction needs signing off to ensure we know all items have been checked and are ok to be pushed live.
For each testing instruction, you will need to toggle the 'Is Signed Off'.
Note: You will only be able to sign off instructions when all items are actioned/ resolved. If items are left unresolved, you will not be able to 'sign off' the instruction.
