What is the Transfers feature?
The 'Transfers' feature is the action of transferring an athletes affiliation from one Organization to another when the athlete is not in their renewal period.
NOTE: If you are unsure if your NGB Federation uses this feature, please use the 'Contact Support' feature to ask.
How do I Transfer from one Organization to another?
- Login to your account
- Click your profile card to maximise your profile
- Click 'Memberships'
- On your membership line item click 'Actions'
- Click 'Transfers'
- Click 'Start Transfer'
- Select your new club and complete the on-screen prompts and then click 'Start Transfer'
- Your Transfer has been initiated and you will now await approval from the relevant Organizations
- Once the relevant Organizations have approved the transfer request, your affiliation will update
How does a member know what stage their transfer is at?
A member can check the progress of their transfer request by clicking on the 'Actions' menu within their membership tab and selecting 'Transfers' they may see one of the following statuses;
- Awaiting Approval - One or both of the Organizations is yet to approve the request
- Approved - Both Organizations have approved the transfer
- Rejected - The transfer request has been rejected by one of the Organizations
The transfer can also be in a Waiting Window, meaning once a certain number of days has elapsed the transfer will automatically be completed. The length of the 'window' is determined by the NGB.
How does an Organization know what transfers are pending their input?
The Organizations' Primary Contact will be notified via email of any transfer requests that require approval. An Organization can also see the status of all transfer requests involving their Organization on their Transfers dashboard which can be accessed by clicking on 'Transfers' from the left hand dashboard menu within the Platform
As an Organization how do I view active transfers?
To view active transfers, a user will need to have the relevant admin privileges within the Organization.
- Login and switch into the relevant Organization
- On the left hand menu bar click 'Transfers' (this will be near the bottom of the list)
- Click 'Active Transfers'
As an Organization how do I approve or reject an active transfer?
To approve or reject active transfers, a user will need to have the relevant admin privileges within the Organization.
- Login and switch into the relevant Organization
- On the left hand menu bar click 'Transfers' (this will be near the bottom of the list)
- Click 'Active Transfers'
- You will now be able to see the relevant information regarding the transfer
- Under 'Actions' you will be able to approve or reject the transfer
