How can I donate?

There are 4 ways in which a donation can be processed through the Platform:

• Via the prompt at checkout

• Via the cart

• Via the external link on the log in page

• Via the external embeddable link (if used by your federation)

Donating at checkout

If configured you will be prompted when checking out. Each client sets up ‘pots’ when configuring this module that enables them to account for donations separately. You’ll be able to select from one of the pre-configured amounts or enter a custom amount. Once the form has been completed you will be able to continue the checkout process. You’ll receive a donation confirmation email and receipts for your donation and the original item in your cart separately.

Donating within the platform

You can navigate to the basket/ cart at any time to make a donation. Simply click on the ‘Make Donation’ button and follow the on screen prompts.

The donation will show within the purchase history of the main user of the account.

Donating from the external pages

This feature allows donors to make donations without logging in to the Platform. This can be accessed from the log in screen or, in some instances, has been embedded on federation websites.

Donations made using this method will have profiles created within the federation, or for those that already exist in the Platform, the donation will be logged against the user profile that already exists.

I can’t see a donation button

If the button is not available it means that the module has not been configured. Please use the ‘Support’ button and ask your federation how you can donate!
