In order to block or unblock a member from your club, you will need to hold a relevant role and know the membership number and membership type (e.g., Adult Individual Membership) to complete the block.
If using club memberships, please ensure to use the club membership number which can be found by clicking on the club membership add on type.
To block a user
- Log in and switch to your organization account
- Ensure you are switched into your club/ region
- On the left hand panel, click 'Affiliations'
- This is typically at the bottom of the list so you may need to scroll down
- Click 'Blocks'
- Enter add on membership number and the membership add on type
- Click the '+' button
- This will block this member from affiliating to your club
To unblock a user
- Follow steps 1-5 as mentioned above
- Click the red icon beneath 'Action' to remove the user from the blocked list
- The user will then be able to affiliate with your club
Once this block has been put in place, the user will no longer be affiliated with the club/ organisation and will not be able to re-affiliate unless the block is removed. If the user holds an auto-renewal, this will not be taken unless the user selects a new club to be affiliated with.
The club/ organisation will no longer see the user within their member lists, but will be able to manage the block within the affiliations tab.
Note: If you do not see the 'Affiliations' tab, you role or NGB may not have this function. Please contact your organization admin if you believe this feature is missing.
