How do I manage my communication preferences within my account?

Log in to your profile

Click on the ‘View Profile’ button

Select ‘Communication Preferences’

Update your preferences and click ‘Update’
- This will allow you to opt in or out of specific communications
Note: You may need to repeat this if you have multiple athletes within your account.
Will I be prompted to update my preferences?
Every 12 months the Platform will ask users to re-consent to their email preferences. This is done at log in so users who are set up on auto renewal for memberships that may not interact with the Platform would need to log in to trigger the prompt.
A prompt will also be displayed at log in if the NGB introduces new preferences to select from.
What happens when I click ‘Unsubscribe’?
Your email address will be removed from the ‘subscriber list’ within the Campaign Manager and preference within your account will be updated.
Please note that your preferences are stored on a per email preference basis so you may need to unsubscribe from multiple emails in order to stop receiving all emails. The best way to do this is to log in to your account and mark ‘No’ for the preferences you wish to stop receiving emails for. NGBs can override these preferences for important announcements.
Some NGBs do not use our integrated Campaign Manager. We suggest that if you wish to unsubscribe from these emails you do so using the link on the email and manually update your preferences within your account. Please contact your NGB directly if you continue to receive emails after completing these two tasks.
Can I opt out of the automated platform emails?
At present emails such as ‘renewal reminders’ and ‘payment confirmation emails’ cannot be turned off. We are working on an improvement to this piece and hope to make updates in due course.
