Smart Lists contain the functionality to send an email or create a subscriber group for Campaign Manager from all the users within the view.
How to send an email through Smart Lists
Organizations can send emails directly to athletes/ members from the members area.
Please be aware this communication system has been made with the purpose of sending a basic email communication. However, if your organization is wanting to send a variety of email campaigns, Sport:80 would suggest using Campaign Manager which is a more sophisticated service for sending a range of different email campaigns.
To send an email from the member area, follow these steps:
- Open the Smart List and add filters or open a Saved View if required
- Click the blue 'Actions' button on the right hand side of the screen
- Select 'Send Email'
- Fill out the Subject and Body fields
- Select Send
- A notification message will display on the status of your email
- The email will display for the user as below:
Please note: emails can only be sent to up to 1000 users within the Platform. Any beyond this will need to be sent via Campaign Manager. The Campaign Manager is a tool available to all National Governing Bodies, talk to your MPC if you would like more information on how this tool could benefit your organization.
