- Download and open the template
- Complete the template (check here for common errors)

- Continue to follow prompts on screen
The Platform performs bulk uploads by working through the spreadsheet. Where data is encountered that is invalid for any reason (e.g. something non-numerical in a numerical-only field) the upload will error and stop. In this instance, it is worth checking which records (if any) have successfully been added from the top of the spreadsheet downwards.
See here for reasons
There is a general data limit to bulk uploads, which will impose a maximum number of records able to be imported in one go. That limit will depend on the amount of information the record contains.
As a rule of thumb, significantly exceeding triple digits is likely to result in that limit being reached.
Completing the template
Where required there is validation within the template, users should ensure they select from the predefined lists available. For fields that need to be completed manually the user is required to enter this information in the required format (for example, a phone number field should only contain numbers).
In addition, the date should always be input in the following format:
- YYYY-MM-DD
Note: If errors are encountered stating that the club/ organization is not valid, check the validation pre-defined list matches what is stored in the Platform, and update in the template if required. These will need to match exactly, including punctuation which may be omitted in the pre-defined list.
