The Resources section allows you, the client, to upload documents and information to the Platform in one convenient space. While all users can view the Resources section, access to specific resources can be restricted based on dependencies you set, ensuring only designated users can view or download certain documents.
You can create "Buckets," which function as folders to organise your resources. Resource materials are created and then added to these buckets.
The Resources section is available for all domains and can be set up through the Resource Admin. The Resources button appears on the left-hand menu and is accessible to all users.
Managing Resources
Resources are managed in the Resource Admin, found in the admin left-hand menu. Here, you can add, edit, and remove resources, set up dependencies, and reorder your buckets.
Once configured in the Resource Admin, the Resources will not be visible to end users until a member of the Sport:80 team enables it. You will need to request a team member to activate this feature.
Types of Resources
Within the Resource Admin, you can upload the following types of resources:
- Files
- Links
- Images
Please note: the max file size for documents is 10mb and 5mb for images
Viewing Resources
All users with a Sport:80 profile can click on the Resources tab on the left-hand side. However, you can set dependencies for each bucket, controlling which users can view specific information. This feature is useful for restricting access based on criteria such as holding specific, valid add-ons or meeting certain requirements.
In the example below, a user must hold a valid, paid membership to access the 'Membership Resources' section.
Dependencies are applied to buckets, not individual resources. You can also place a bucket within another bucket to further organise your resources.
