Event Account Codes

Similar to add ons, events can have account codes set up which will pull into the reports. Account codes for events can be set at: 

• The event builder by Sport:80 as a default account code
  • This is best when all events from that builder share the same account code
• On entry options by Sport:80 as a default account code
  • This is best when all events from that builder share the same account code
• After sanctioning the event, the account code can be set in the Event Admin Panel 
  • This is best when account codes vary for different events within an event builder 

Class codes can also be set in the same areas as above, but will require an account code to be set to then allow class codes.

Note: Wherever Sport:80 set default Account Codes are set at either level in config (e.g., builder or entry stage option), they cannot be overwritten by the organiser in the Event Admin Panel. 

Setting Account Codes in the Event Admin Panel 

1. Log in and switch to the organization hosting the event
2. Click 'Events Admin' on the left-hand menu
3. Search for the event and open the event admin panel 
4. Click 'Entry Options'
5. Click on the relevant entry option/ category (e.g., Entry Fee)
6. For each category row (e.g., Men's, Women's), click Edit as the pencil icon
   1. 
7. On this pop up, click 'Pricing' and then add the account code and class code
   1. 
8.  Click Save 

Note: It is best to set the account codes and class codes prior to the opening window and any entries being taken. Adding and updating the account and class codes will only apply for any future transactions, and will NOT backdate already made transactions.

You can set Class Codes within the Event Admin Panel EVEN IF the Account Code has been set in default Config by Sport:80. However, the Account Code field MUST also be filled. It doesn’t matter what it is filled with (e.g., 123456) the Account Code will still used the default value set in the Config by Sport:80, but the Class Code field is ignored if the Account Code field is not populated in the Event Admin Panel.
