If you do not receive emails regarding SafeSport, an old or out-of-date email address may be being used. This can occur if you have previously taken SafeSport with another organization or sport.
If there is a user within the Center records with the first name, last name, and date of birth matching your data in Sport:80, the system will use the email address held in the Center records to avoid creating a duplicate.
Note: The email address held in the Center for SafeSport will take precedence over the email address in the Sport:80 Platform.
To resolve emails regarding SafeSport being sent to an old or out-of-date email address, users will need to contact their NGB, who will be able to reach out to the Center for SafeSport to update the email address. You will need to include the following information:
- Full name
- Membership number, if applicable
- Email address in Sport:80 (this will be the email address to be used going forward)
- The old or out-of-date email address, if known (see the on screen message if unsure)
- The SafeSport course you are expecting to take
