If your club not listed in the affiliation dropdown, there are a few common reasons this can happen. Most of the time, the issue is simple and can be resolved quickly.
Below are the most common reasons a club may not appear in the affiliation list, along with steps to help you resolve it quickly:
Please Note: The term 'Club' may vary depending on your organization. You may see alternative wording such as School, Chapter, Affiliate, Partner, League, Region, Promoter, Pool, State, Association or Zone. These all refer to the same Affiliation selection within the platform.
1. The club does not exist in the system
The club may not have been created on the Platform yet.
What to do
Check with your club administrator to confirm the club has been registered correctly.
If you still cannot find the club, please contact your organization through the 'Help and Support' link located in the footer of the Platform. This will ensure your enquiry is directed to the correct support team.
2. You are searching the wrong name
Sometimes the club exists, but is listed under a slightly different name than expected.
Common issues include abbreviations instead of full names, small spelling differences, missing words such as Inc or Football Club, or searching for a team name instead of the official club name.
What to do
Try searching using the full official club name, fewer words, or just a key part of the name. For example, search for 'Lions' instead of 'Sport:80 Lions Football Club'.
3. The club has been archived
Clubs can be archived. When a club is archived, it will no longer appear in the active affiliation list.
This may occur if the club is no longer operating, has merged with another club, or has been retired from active use.
What to do
If you believe the club should still be active, please contact your organization, through the 'Help and Support' link located in the footer of the Platform, so the status can be confirmed.
4. The Club May Not Meet the Organization Requirements
Depending on the Organization’s configuration, a Club may need to meet certain requirements to appear in the Affiliation list, like holding a valid Membership.
If those requirements are not met, the Club will not be visible during the Affiliation process.
What to do
If you believe the Club should be available for selection, please submit a request through the 'Help and Support' link located in the footer of the Platform. Your Organization’s support team can review the Club’s setup and confirm whether it meets the necessary requirements.
